Our holidays:
Toussaint:from 22/10 to 3/11.
These holidays are a Catholic commemoration for dead people. The French celebrates Halloween and asks for sweet to their neighbours (like in America).
Christmas holidays: from 11/02 to 27/02.
These holidays are because of Christmas, which we celebrate with our family. The pupils and French people often go skiing during those holidays.
Pâques:from 7/04 to 23/04.
The Spring break is a Catholic celebration. It’s for Jesus’ resurrection. French children receive chocolates and sweets.
Summer holidays: from 5/07 to 5/09.
These are the longer holidays that we have. During two months, pupils can go to different trips and enjoy summer.
First term:from the 5th of July to December.
Second term:from December to March.
